EPLA Winter High School Girls Lacrosse Leagues for JV & Varsity Players
This is a competitive league for players who have played lacrosse on their various MSHSL teams.
The Varsity League begins Monday January 19th through March 19th.
Cost is $200.00.
The Varsity League is open to 8th-12th grade girls who ARE EXPECTING to play at the Varsity level this Spring.
Full Field regulation games with coaching. Players will be placed with their High School allegiances and once teams are set, their will be no switching teams. (This due to MSHSL rules not allowing Coaches to coach own players.). Two start times for Varsity, you will be informed via email as to what time your team plays each week. Players will receive a reversible jersey and are expected to bring each week.
The JV-League will run 9-weeks beginning Monday January 9th. The first day of this session will be a warm-up and 5 v 5 games. League begins Monday January 16th at 7-8:10 and runs through March 5th. Full field games with Coaching and teams will be chosen each week. School alliances will be kept. Players who expect to play JV or are not as experienced in this sport should sign up for the JV League! Cost is $160.00. Players will receive a reversible jersey and bring it each week.
Goalie Opportunities for JV & Varsity Lacrosse Leagues are new this year as we are offering a chance for Goalies to play for a greatly reduced price ($25.00) the opportunity to play in the JV & Varsity leagues. As we have had many teams without a regular starting goalie and this system will allow us to fill a needed spot in the JV & Varsity games. There are opportunities for six goalies a night to play lacrosse at the 7:00, 8:10 and 9:15 time slots. Goalies who sign up and pay in the JV or Varsity leagues will be guaranteed a spot starting for their respective team, but for the teams that do not have a goalie, this would mean a chance to play many times over the winter months. Goalies must have a current US Lacrosse membership (www.uslacrosse.org) Goalies must have own equipment. | |
