Lacrosse Registration - MUST BE DONE BY MARCH 21ST TO PARTICIPATE DURING SPRING BREAK!!!!
Because of our late start date, the 1st day of Spring Break, everyone must be registered by Wednesday March 21st to be cleared to practice during the break. The Athletic Office will be closed during break so you will be "out of luck".
Please don't plan to wait until you get back from break to register. The crowd of other late spring sport athletes who will be scrambling to get signed up and cleared which will delay your practicing even further.
There will be no exceptions due to potential liability issues.
What equipment do I need to try-out? See the tab on the left, "Coach's Corner" for the answer.
Early morning conditioning
Lacrosse is a sport that requires strength and cardio conditioning to perform needed skills at a high level each and everyday. You have to bring your "A game" from the very 1st day of practices to be ready for our schedule.
With that in mind, optional conditioning sessions will be held twice a week (Tues & Thurs) until March. These sessions are open to any AHS student who wants to prepare themselves for the spring season. Enter through Door 5 (by the weightroom) after 0545. We begin at 0600 sharp! We will be done by 0700.
Winter sport athletes: you SHOULD be working hard enough at your current sport to be ready for our season in March. If you're not, you are invited to these sessions. If you have a game scheduled, we'll make sure you have enough left in the tank....
In the event of heavy snow...always check this website for updates/cancellations before you leave your house.
If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact me or Duffey.
